PG Barracudas 60th Anniversary Swim‑A‑Thon
This year marks an incredible milestone — 60 years of competitive swimming, community spirit, and athlete development. To celebrate, we’re bringing our entire club together for a special 60th Birthday Bash Swim‑A‑Thon.
From our youngest D3 swimmers to our Masters athletes, every group will take part in this club‑wide event. It’s a chance to honour our history, support our programs, and cheer on our swimmers as they push themselves in the pool.
Getting Started
Each swimmer will create their own fundraising profile and share it with friends and family. Donations can be made online in just a few clicks. Parents may need to help younger swimmers with registration.
Fundraising Cut‑Off: May 31

Every swimmer participates, no matter how much they raise. The Swim‑A‑Thon is about effort, community, and celebrating what our swimmers can achieve.

Thank you for supporting our swimmers — and happy fundraising!
How It Works
The Swim‑A‑Thon is a national fundraiser supporting swim clubs across Canada. Our club receives over 90% of all funds raised — money that directly supports our swimmers and programs.
Swimmers collect donations and then swim as far as they can within their group’s time limit. And yes — there are prizes!
Fundraising Tips
Online fundraising makes it easy and safe for swimmers to reach out.
Encourage your swimmer to personalize their outreach:
Record a short video for social media
Create posters for office lunchrooms
Write letters or emails to family friends
Share their fundraising link widely
Sponsorship Ideas
Supporters can pledge per lap or length — a fun way to motivate swimmers and boost donations.
Creative challenge ideas:
Double donations for butterfly lengths
Bonus pledges for distance milestones
“Challenge laps” with special pledges
